10. Get involved - There is no use in fighting the social media outlets. They are here to stay. And it is a contact sport, so you have to be involved and contacting people in order to play. Besides, why wouldn’t you want to get involved? It is a free outlet for you to build relationships with your customers, grow your reach, grow your business, and make more money. Get off the sidelines and get into the game.

9. Engage Your Market Place – Don’t just sit inside the various social media outlets watching people interact and do their thing. Get involved and answer people questions. Connect people with those might need to connect with in order to be successful. Provide people with links and information that might take them to the next level. And this information doesn’t always have to be your product or service. You just need to engage your audience and get them use to coming to you for what they need. That would be a successful social media campaign because once they did need your product or service, they would be comfortable enough with you to get it.

8. Don’t Spam Your Product or Service – This has to be the fasted and easiest way to make your social media name irrelevant, useless, and annoying. Spamming people via social media is the process of just blasting out your products and services over and over without ever giving anything of substance or value for free. You know what I am talking about, “Buy my widget. Buy my gadget. Did you see this great gadget of mine, get it!”

Believe it or not, this is the activities of many of the Internet marketers in the world and how they use social media to so called build their business. Then, they complain terribly about how ineffective social media is to grow your business, but the through is they are not operating properly and merely doing nothing but frustrating their followers and friends with a constant onslaught of nothingness. Do this at your own perile.

7. Use Third Party Applications – There are litteraly hundreds of third party applications out there that can make you totally more effective a social media marketer. Be sure to check them out and use them. For example, one of the main ones that come to my mind is TweetDeck. It allows you to monitor and participate in all your social media accounts from your desktop without having to visit each site every minute to be involved. It is a must have for social media marketers.

There are a few more that allow you to post to all of the various social media outlets all at once. This is a very useful tool as it saves you massive amounts of time because you don’t have to visit all of your accounts over and over again only to type the same message. The two that we would recommend would be Adjix.com and HelloTxt.com, they both are great and very similar in useage.

6. Only Engage in a Select Few Social Media Outlets – Yes, there are hundreds of various social media outlets, but this doesn’t give you cartblange to just engage in all of them. Why? Because you only have  so much time in a day. I mean really, do you really want to be sitting in front of a compter screen talking to virtual friends all day long.

Well, maybe, but this isn’t the most effective use of your time. I would suggest tht you focus on at least the big three and expand to one or two more that is very niche based for your industry. The big three are obviously Facebook, Twitter, and LinkIn. Not sure if you can afford to sit out on these three various outlets, but I am sure you know what is best for your business. If I were you, I would at least engage the big three. You don’t have time for all of them…trust us on this one. We tried to do it.

5. Avoid Negative People – Just like the real world, negative people will drain your time, energy, and effort. This is not something that you want in any of your businesses. You cannot afford it. Therefore, you have to step back and get away from them online and offline as well.

How do you do this? It is very simple. If you are on Facebook, then unfriend these people. If you are on Twitter, don’t follow them. I think you get the picture, but trust us here and do it as quickly as possible. Nothing good can come from negative people, but negative energy. And negative energy is not going to produce you more business, it is going to cost you business.

4. Get Multiple Accounts – If you are like most Internet marketers, you are offering multiple products, services all in various niches. Good. Just make sure that you start multiple accounts for each one. You want to do this because you will be talking about various things under each product or service, so you don’t want to confuse your friends, fans, or followers with all the various messages that could be coming out of your social media profile.

Now, if you are just being yourself, then they will have to deal with it, but if possible get yourself a few accounts for your various campaings and run with it. It is just much better to keep it clean and moving forward.

3. Position Yourself as an Expert – The crux of the social media matter is branding and positioning. If you are able to show people that you know what you are talking about, are focused on your niche, provide great information and resources, then you can position yourself as an expert in your niche. This is what you want and what you need.

The reason you need to work on positioning yourself as an expert in the field is because people only buy from those that they perceive as an expert and they trust. Displaying your knowledge base to be both practical and useful to your followers and friends will go along way with building trust and expertise. Once this is done, then not only will they buy from you, but they will refer friends and maybe even join your affiliate programs to move your prouducts as well.

2. Add Value to Others – In order to position yourself as an expert, you have to add value to others. There is simply no other way around it. Adding value means that you help them solve their problems by asking inquisitive questions, directing them to useful information, providing useful information from your archieves, and just being there for them if they need to talk it out.

Remember, to provide them with information doesn’t always mean that you have to give them your information or products. If you are reading a great article on the website of another person and it really applies to someones situation, send it to them with a note saying that you were just browsing the net, came by this article, and thought it would be great for them and their situation. This is what people do when they are seeking to add value. But don’t worry, this type of value will add creditibility, trust, and expert positioning to your name….and this is ultimately what you want to create in your niche.

1. Build Relationships First – We mentioned that you shouldn’t be spamming your followers, friends, and fans. What you should be doing is seeking to create relationships with the people that you are engaged. This is the secret sauce of social media marketing, relationships.

Don’t listen to anyone in the social media market claiming to know the truth if they are not pushing relationships as the most important thing to build in this space. The reason you have to develop relationships first is because this is how people are using social media, to interact with others and build relationships. So if you don’t first seek to establish a relationship, then you are like a piece of junk mail that gets tossed into the recycler bin before it is even glanced at. And this is not something that  you want. Even though social media is free it doesn’t come absent of your time. And the last thing that you can afford to waste is your time.

Build the relationship first, provide value, establish expertise, then maybe decide to offer your following, friends, and fans a product or service.

If you are not aware or even if you are of Hubpages.com, then we are going to show your our top ten reasons to love Hub Pages. You might be thinking that Hub Pages are cool, but don’t underestimate this opportunity or you will be very sorry.

Let’s get to the madness and find out the top ten reasons to love Hub Pages.

10. They are Free – You can’t be this offering. It is free, cost you zero, nada, zilch to build as many Hub pages as you can possibly bust out in a day, week, or a lifetime. Think about it, instead of building website sites that take up hosting space, which cost you money, nor buying domain names that will begin to add up eventually, you have the opportunity to reach the same customers and possibly more for free. So Hub not only gives you an opportunity to make money, but to do so with no overhead cost at all. That is what I call a good business opportunity.

9. Google Loves Hub Pages - You may or may not be an SEO guru when it  comes to optimizing your sites, but with Hub Pages you don’t even have to figure that out. Hub Pages are already loved by Google. All you have to do is some keyword research to ensure that you are chasing the right words and if there isn’t a mountain of competition, you will find your Hub Page on the first page of Google typically within 24 hours. The first time I saw this happen, I was amazed at this being true. Granted, I wasn’t going after terms like “stock market” or “foreclosure” either, but my keyword phrase was important to me and that is all that matters.

8. Multiple Monetization Options - You might be thinking that Hub Pages really restrict your monetization options, but this just isn’t true. In fact, they give you much more rope than you might expect. You can make money with Adsense, Kontra, eBay, and Amazon where you share the impressions with Hub Pages. Simply put, the impressions made are alternated between you and Hub Pages. but 60% of the time, those impressions are yours and you make 100% of the revenue earned from that page. It is a great program, but not the only way to make money with Hub pages.

In fact, you can still add your own affiliate links or products to Hub Pages and earn 100% of the commissions each and every time there is a sale. Not sure many people realize and understand this opportunity, but it is out there and you should consider it in the future.

7. Easy to Write – As long as you have a subject matter in mind that you enjoy or are knowledgeable about, then these Hub Pages are very easy to write. A few hundred words, 500 to 800, is all you need to make serious Hub Page. In addition to this, they have features that you can implement right into the Hub Pages with just a few clicks. For example, you can import Amazon and eBay listings right into your report. It is very simple to add YouTube videos to your post, news feeds, polls, and comments as well to fill out the Hub Page and make it more attractive to your readers, search engines, and Hub Pages.

6. Hub Page Rankings – Each Hub you write is rated on a scale from 1 to 100, the hire the ranking the better. This is great because it gives you a guide as to how well your Hub is doing. An Hub that is ranked at 50 is only marginal and might not get the full support of Hub as it will present better pages to their community. It is my understanding that 76 is the magic Hub score as it is with this number that Hub will promote your listing and your links become “do follow” and that is great when building backlinks to other sites that you might have.

5. Additional Links to Other Sites – If you are going to put the work into these Hub sites, then you may as well link to some of your other websites, affiliate products, and personal products. It just makes sense. Hub Pages will generate traffic for your site and you create links going out to it and make 100% of whatever you earn on those pages.

A word of caution when using Hub Pages is that you are only allowed to make one outward link per Hub to a specific site or your Hub will be suspended. Take this from me as I have had an Hub Page suspended before. To get it re-instated, you just have to rewrite it and take the additional links out of it, but it is really not a big deal. I just didn’t know when I was getting started with Hub, so I made a mistake and over linked.

4. Low Maintenance – Once you have written an Hub Page, you don’t have to go back and tweak it over and over again if you don’t want. It can remain in it’s current state indefinitely. The good thing is that if you develop another site or Hub that is relevant in the future to the one that you did, then you can go back and add the link or links to it as you see fit. This is really cool cause I have gone back to some of my older Hubs and worked on them as well, putting additional pictures, links, and thoughts into them.

3. Readers Trust Hub – The numbers show that readers trust the Hub Pages. Just think about it, are you going to build a website next week that is going to garner more support and trust than Hub Pages that have been around for years and most readers have encountered before. I don’t think so. Well, I guess it is possible, but I wouldn’t put my money on it.

The readers are going to click around your Hub more freely than they will around a random site page. It just make sense, so why not take advantage of that and put as many Hubs and money making opportunities out there as possible for yourself? Start a Hub today.

2. Less to Think About – Hub Pages have pretty much don’t the layout for you. Most of the graphics are laid out already. The SEO has been completed and the search engine spiders already love Hub. The monetization methods are set, unless you are adding a personal product. All you have to do is research keywords, write, and tweak your Hub and you are finished. There is not much to think about when going through this process. Just get it done.

1. You Can Actually Make Money – No kidding, this model truly works on the Internet. Why? Because there is no overhead. You don’t have to hit a certain number each week just to break even. Everything that you earn with Hub Pages are a profit. It is crazy and I should have thought about this business model a long time ago, but I didn’t. Fortunately for me, I am doing right now because I recently learned about it.

But if you have no overhead and an opportunity to make money, then this is the best of the best situation to move forward with. Take what you have learned, get your research together, create a free Hub account, and start building your Internet empire today!

Believe it or not, there are ways to make money on the Internet without needing or coding a website. I know this may seem foreign to many of you, but it is true. Just follow me for a minute and I will show you the top ten ways Internet marketers make this happen everyday.

10. Content Generation – Maybe you have a special gift to produce content, but don’t really have a great desire to code, design and build websites. This is great because there are thousands of people out there that will gladly pay you money to write content for their websites. They have a ton of work to do and never enough time to do it in, thus they outsource the content creation of their sites to writers. This could be you. Resources like Digital Point, eLance, Odesk, Warrior Forum, even Craigs List are great places to list your article writing desires and ability. Those in need will find you, especially if you are a quality content writer.

9. Social Networking - There is a lot more to the Facebooks, MySpaces, and Twitters of the world than just stalking and being into everyone else’s business. You can actually make money using these sites if you have your game face on when you are there.

One way to do this is to work at positioning yourself as an expert in a particular niche by building credibility with others by showing, educating, and teaching them various insights to your particular niche. This will establish yourself as an expert in this area and when someone is looking for something in your niche, they will turn to you first. In addition, if you through out an affiliate link or a product that someone might need when getting started with your niche, then they will be more receptive to opening the link and maybe even make the purchase of which you will get a percentage of. So next time you are on the Social networking sites, remember, it is not just all fun and games if you don’t want it to be. It can be fun and additional money.

8. Selling Information – I know what you are thinking. If I am going to sell some information, then don’t I need a website to sell it on? Wrong!!

All you have to do is create a product that educates your target market, put it into a package that is pleasing to their eye, and a medium that they can receive it, then use affiliate marketers to move and sell your product.

Ebooks come to mind first. If you produce a useful ebook in your niche and put it on a website like Click Bank that allows third parties to take your landing page and sell your product on your behalf, then you have a good potential to reach a lot of buyers without a website of your own and without a lot of serious effort. Not going to lie to you, just because you make a product doesn’t mean someone is going to pick it up and sell it for you. You have to make it look promising and eventually you can attract sellers.

7. Article marketing – Again, if you can write  content, then you can make money. This strategy involves writing content that will be placed on the article sharing sites like Ezine Articles for others to use and put on their websites to build up their content.

The catch to writing articles for others websites through this medium is if they are going to use your article, then they must keep the article as you originally wrote it and keep the links in there as well. This is great because those links could include some of your affiliate offers, Amazon sales, or even ebay listings. Now, imagine this article is picked up by thousands of bloggers. How much exposure could that bring to your products and affiliate links? A ton is the answer. Follow this strategy and it could become very lucrative for you.

6. Ebay or Craigs List – If you have physical items or even informational items that you want to sell, these sites are still the best of the best. Everyday, millions of people descend upon these outlets to find the items and goods that they need and you may as well consider using them as well. They are reputable names, people trust them, and you can make some serious money in the process. No list would be complete without these websites being mention, so it had to be done.

5. Bundle Article Sales – Write 10 articles or so and sell them in a package for like $50 or whatever you think it is worth, but if you know something about a subject and can pump out material you may as well get paid for it. This is something similar to content generation because that what you are doing, but it is a little more advanced because you are selecting a specific niche and marketing it as a package to someone that might be starting a site in that area. Digital point is a great place for this type of activity because there are always bloggers looking for content and they are not trying to write it all.

4. Squidoo Lens – Squidoo lenses are great third party websites that allow you to build specific pages or lenses for a particular niche. Squidoo has built up a large community of people that surf their various lenses and yes, these lenses are able to monetized for your earning potential. You can provide information about great affiliate products that you are representing or even your own products, but at the very least then you could move amazon and ebay products.

3. Domain Flipping - Believe it or not there is still a huge market for domain flipping. I am sure you can figure out what this is. Just like in the housing market where people buy a property to sell it later for an higher price, it can be done with domains as well. If you have the foresite or research ability to find great niche domain names before everyone else, then you can make a generous living buying and selling domain names.

2. Hub Pages – I recently became aware of the power of Hub Pages, but love them at the moment. Hub Pages are one page websites that you generate via a third party to promote the niche or subject that is on your mind. The great thing about Hub Pages is search engines like Google, Yahoo, and Bing absolutely love them. And you will quickly notice Hub Pages rising to the top of the search rankings for your keywords very quickly.

These pages are able to be monetized with Adsense, Amazon, EBay, and Kontra with the help of Hub Pages. Each time someone buys something or clicks one of  your ads, you earn a percentage of the clicks just like normal. The catch here is that  you don’t need your own website to be effective in this endeavor, you just need some decent research skills and writing ability to attract the appropriate search engines and readership. Here is a great article on how to make money using Hub Pages and a 30 day challenge to start doing so. I started this challenge recently and am really looking forward to it.

1. Pay Per Click - This is a very lucrative business, but also very risky. This involves joining affiliate programs through websites like Click Bank in order to use and promote the web pages of owner of various digital products, placing your affiliate link in the url, and making sales via the traffic you generate through your pay per click advertising.

If you have the right mix of searches and people’s needs in mind with the product, then this can work out very well. But if you don’t and your advertisement is getting a bunch of clicks with no conversions, then you can be out of a lot of money very  quickly with very little to show for it. If you are  going to go for the PPC route to riches and fame, then be very careful and be sure to set daily spending limits as they will begin to add up quickly and this way you can monitor your day to see if adjustments need to be made.

Internet marketers have to understand that they really only have two great resources in this business, their time and money. Your time is critical because you only have 24 hours in a day, of which at least 4 to 6 of those hours are spend sleeping or resting, even if you are a vampire. Then a few of those hours must be dedicated to running errands or seeing the family. Therefore, you are only left with a small portion of your 24 to work on your business, so every  moment you spend wasting time is anti productive to your business.

Obviously, your money is a key resource because you worked hard to earn it, but it allows you to leverage yourself, hire other people to work in your business, or purchase additional education programs or resources to help your business. Therefore, this resource must be used wisely.

However, most Internet marketers waste their time and money doing many very silly things throughout the day. Are you wasting yours?

Here are the top ten ways Internet marketers waste their time and money.

10. On Twitter all day – Don’t get me wrong, Twitter can be an effective tool if you are using it right. But if you are setting on the regular Twitter.com page reading update after update cause you are just curious of what the world is up to, then you are wasting time. With all the Twitter applications available on the Internet for marketers, there is no reason to be on the main Twitter page. And if you are, then at least spend your time in on the search page looking to build relationships with people that could make a difference to your business.

9. On Facebook all day – Like Twitter, Facebook.com is a great place to expand your business, network, and more, but it is definitely a time trap. I can see you know sitting there watching the updates, chatting with friends, messaging, and playing the ultimate killer of time….Mafia Wars!! Sure, some of these activities are very relevant to your business, but don’t fool yourself. There a lot of things that you need to be doing to be successful as an Internet marketer and they all don’t lie on social networking sites. Do yourself a favor and close the page from time to time.

8. Playing video games – As a computer, tech literate person, it is likely that you enjoy video games. There is nothing wrong with PlayStation 3, X Box, PSP, or any of the other gaming platforms, but remember you only have 24 hours in a day and less than that to work on your business, so each hour in front of these games is an hour away from your business. And if you are not working on your business, then how can you expect it to be working for you?

7. Watching television or YouTube – I like television like the next next guy, but unless you are researching a post, then you don’t need to be locked into this time warp. A small intention to watch a 30 minute show can quickly turn into a two hour ordeal and most of your time gone for the day. Do yourself a favor and create a schedule to watch your favorite shows. Or better yet, DVR them and watch when you are spent from working on your Internet marketing business and just need a minute to get away.

6. Not using Internet productivity tools – There are literally thousands of tools out there on the Internet designed to make you more effective as an Internet marketer, even a better person. But if you are not taking the time to research them, finding them, and utilizing them in your business, then they will never work for you. Take a moment and find out what tools people are using that are making them seem to be in 12 places at one time while building their brand, credibility, and reach.

5. Staying busy, instead of effective - This is one of the toughest things for all entrepreneurs to get a grasp of. I will admit that it took me a while to figure out what the business of Internet marketing consisted of and what I needed to be doing on a daily basis. Here is a secret; much of these activities do not require you to be on Facebook, Myspace, or Twitter for hours at a time. Much of your work will consist of link building, networking, planning, and outsourcing work that doesn’t take all of your know how and expertise. The key is to remain effective in all you do and not just busy.

4. Buying materials, reading them, and not putting them to use – Why would you buy a product, read it, and not put it into action? I am not sure, but people do it all the time. Why do you think these Internet marketing gurus love you so much. They know that if they get your trust that you will just purchase and purchase and purchase.

Nothing wrong with purchasing, but you have to ready, willing, and able to implement the systems and techniques into your business and websites. Seriously, you can have the best ideas, strategies, and techniques in the world, but if they are not working for your Internet business, then what good are they? The only thing better than knowledge is applied knowledge.

3. Not having a plan – How can you reach a destination if you don’t know where you want to go and don’t have a road map to get there? You can’t. So don’t fall into this trap of having big dreams, but don’t want to do the mental work to figure out how you are going to reach those goals. Your plan doesn’t have to be a 35 page business plan, but it should be on a physical sheet of paper and stuck to the wall above your desk. As your plan develops and changes, then make the alterations to your physical paper and keep rolling. This is your business, treat it like such and make it happen.

He who fails to plan, plans to fail. Remember that and get it done!

2. Not having a daily agenda or schedule – Maybe you cannot plan out your week in advance, but surely when you get up you can set goals on what you want to accomplish during the day. A day on the Internet can be so distracting that you have to remain disciplined everyday not to get side tracked and get your goals accomplished. If not, you can waste so much time in many of the activities that we talked about above. If this is your business, treat it like such. Set goals and complete goals. This is the bottom line and the only way to make your Internet marketing business come alive and generate the income you desire.

1. Doing everything themselves – I know outsourcing can be a dirty word to those that have an old fashion thinking process, but come on people. This is the 21st century and outsourcing is the best way to make yourself more effective, save time, and get more done that you could do by yourself.

Most new Internet marketers think they can save a buck or two by doing everything themselves, but never consider that if they turn over those mundane task that can be completed by skilled monkeys, they can free themselves up to work more on their business instead of in it.

Task like article writing, site set up, backlinking, answering emails and more can easily be outsourced to someone that you trust or hired through sites like elance, Odesk, even Digital Point. Do yourself a favor and consider taking your business to the next level by hiring someone else. Not to mention, there actually might be things that you want to do, but don’t have the skill to get it done. Outsourcing could quickly solve this problem and keep your business as an Internet marketer rolling in the right direction.

We all have learned to despise the term, Internet Marketing Guru, haven’t we? If you are new to Internet Marketing, and don’t know what I’m talking about, don’t worry, you will soon enough. If you aren’t new to Internet Marketing, but have been sucked in by one of the more convincing Gurus, here’s an outline of  the top ten reasons that you should hate Internet Marketing Gurus:

10. They hate you (or at least make fun of you behind your back)

The only friends that Internet Marketing “Gurus” have are themselves. They all stick together in a tight little schoolgirl clique and gossip about how easy it was to sell their rehashed version of last year’s product to their list of newbie customers again by creating a “free plus shipping” sale. Sure, the customers got a free CD or DVD with a bunch of nonsense on it, but they tricked them into the recurring membership and the $197 upsell which is actually more than they made from that product the first time that piece of crap was released! Now they’re laughing at you…all the way to the bank… literally.

They can still sleep at night, so they must hate you.

9. They insult your intelligence

Read an Internet Marketing Guru’s sales page and you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. If you read all the way down to the P.S., the P.S.S., and the P.S.S.S., and still don’t know what I mean, then you’re a gullible newbie and need to flee from that order button. No, seriously, close your browser NOW and ignore the pop up with the fake chat window and the stock image of the “customer service person”.

8. They’re untouchable

Newbies should hate the Gurus the most. Anyone who is new to Internet marketing needs more than a Guru product. They need questions answered, ongoing support, and guidance. Typically, an Internet Marketing Guru with leave you in the dust, or worse, forward you to an outsourced help desk with underpaid workers that will read answers to your questions from a script. Ask yourself why the Gurus don’t have time to answer a few questions if they claim to have a life that is a total vacation (see number 10).

7. They’re boring as Hell!

OMFG! They all follow the exact same script in videos, the exact same sales copy format, and even their buddies provide them with the same boring, vague testimonials that are meant to be interchangeable with whatever product they might be selling next. Notice that many of the video testimonials never actual say the product name or give you any clue at all what the product does, even though it will “change your life”?  lmao!

Go outside the Internet Marketing niche and look for products and sales pages in music, movies, and several other niches. You’ll quickly realize what a snoozefest these guys have created and you’ll think you’ve been sent back to Internet 1995 the next time you see one of their ugly ass sales page designs.

Insomnia Guru? Maybe.

6. There’s an A-List (and they refer to it without laughing)

LMAO @ a “Blogger’s A-List”. What does that mean exactly? You have access to seats that are 24 rows behind real celebrities (like Kathy Griffin) at D-List events? C’mon? Smack anyone who refers to an Internet marketer or Blogger “A-List”.

5. 78% don’t even make money with the techniques they sell!

This was a study done by the Internet’s Head Council.  Seventy Eight percent of Internet Marketing Gurus who sell Internet Marketing products don’t even make 50% of the amount that they claim they do (using the techniques they are selling with said product). However, another study showed that 98% of them DO make MORE than they claim by selling you a dream.

4. They steal your time (and money)

Once you have been hypnotized by an Internet Marketing Guru, you will continue to follow and serve them. This means that whenever there is a new blog posts a new product, or even a new tweet on twitter, you will stop whatever you are doing to intensely consume whatever it is that they said. This not only takes time away from your productivity, but it also leads to loss of any profit you might have made after buying their last product.

3. Email Hell

Do I even need to explain this one? No, right? See the problem?

Side note: To the hundreds of affiliates that promote the exact same Internet Marketing Guru product on the same day (the day of the launch), I have some advice for you. Please, if you’re going to use an email template that you grabbed from the affiliate area, think about the other 300 dumb asses who are going to be using the same template on that same day. At least edit it so it seems like you wrote it. Seventy Six percent of your list will likely be annoyed anyway, so why not at least take 5 minutes to be somewhat unique. Have all you schmucks actually become that lazy and automated?

2. Jealousy

The majority of Internet Marketing Gurus make a shitload more money than you do. Here’s the worst part: A portion of those profits is your hard-earned money, but you keep giving it to them anyway, even though their shit hasn’t worked for you yet! That, my friend, would send anyone into a jealous fit of rage.

1. They give the term Guru a bad name (They’re actually nothing like a GURU at all!)

As if the first 9 wasn’t enough, they all lead to the number one reason to hate Internet Marketing Gurus! They are nothing like a Guru at all! False credit, lack of commitment, no two-way communication, and not knowing the meaning of humbleness is actually the opposite of what a Guru really is.

Internet marketers come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and temperaments, yet most seem to share a love hate relationship with “regular jobs”. You know what regular jobs are. Regular jobs are where you do something for someone else on their schedule.

Here are the top 10 reasons Internet marketers hate “regular jobs”.

10. Commuting.

There is nothing cool about sitting in traffic a few hours a day to give your time to another company in exchange for far less than you are worth. I live in Chicago and the traffic is horrible just about any time of the day, but rush hour is pure madness.

Internet marketers are not big on communing to the local Star Bucks or library,  3 hours a day in a car, stuck on the highway doesn’t stand a chance.

9. No control.

Internet markets tend to want to control their future, cash flow, and schedule. Having a “regular job” is not a situation where you are able to dictate your future. Everyday an Internet market wakes up with an opportunity to accomplish, create, earn or do whatever they decide. This is the control that Internet marketers seek and crave.

8. Bosses Suck.

This is not an indictment on the character of people that run companies, organizations, or administrations directly, it is more of a jab at the position that we are put in. The loss of control as we mentioned above is part of it. The commuting back and forth to work is another part. Generally, this is  not a situation Internet marketers want to find themselves, therefore everything associated with it sucks. And yes, those cubicles suck as well.

7. Low Pay

Let’s face the facts, you are never going to be paid what your worth if you are working for someone else. You have to step from behind the counter and grab the reigns of opportunity. This is what Internet marketers crave. The opportunity to prove their worth by creating the operations capable of generating it. A job just cannot truly pay you what your worth and by the time taxes and everything else come out your check, their is even less available.

6. Work Costume

The dreaded work costume consist of whatever you have to put on to be deemed acceptable at the job. Sometimes you are forced to wear neck ties, jackets, hats, pins, slacks. I have a friend that use to work for Target and to this day, she refuses to wear khakis pants because they were required to wear them everday for the job. Internet marketers refuse to subject themselves to this every day.

5. No flexibility

The ability to control your schedule and time is tremendous. Internet marketers crave that flexibility everyday. You cannot achieve this on the job. But as an internet marketer, you can work at any time, from anywhere. If you decided to take a trip, just bring  your laptop.

4. Loss of their time

All those hours you are at the job, commuting to the job, unwinding from the job is time that could be spent with your friends and family furthering those bonds of life experience. This is the real sacrifice of “making a living”. You have to give up those moments and cannot get them back.

As an internet marketer, you do not have to miss those special moments, birthday parties, graduations, field trips, or events. It is this freedom to create those special moments that make internet marketing really special.

3. Rising gas cost

Let’s face it, the rising gas prices are sickening. And it seems like they are cycling up again. This is cost that also reduces the amount of the low paying check that you receive on regular jobs. Internet marketers don’t have this bloated gas bill typically in their business.

2. Office politics

Internet marketers tend to have a straight forward outlook and expectation of people. The office politics of a regular job drives them crazy. In fact, i cannot imagine working in one of these situations where people are actually playing psychological warfare games on you. It is amazing, yet millions of people have to endure it each day, not internet marketers.

1. Stress

The largest reason internet marketers hate regular jobs is because of the stress. It is amazing the type of pressure the job, a boss, company can put on one person. It is amazing and internet marketers do not want anything to do with it. Stress is good in moderation, but not consistently and that is what comes with the commute, cubical, low pay, and boss infested environment of jobs.

And at the end of the day, it is just not Internet Marketing.
